Tryst Hotels is seeking a traveling plumber to support renovation and improvement projects across multiple hotel locations in the U.S. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to work efficiently in remodel environments, solve field problems quickly, and deliver dependable plumbing installations and repairs without constant supervision. You must be comfortable with varied work hours, travel rotations, and working in environments that are proudly centered around gay hospitality and nightlife.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and modify plumbing systems in hotel guest rooms, kitchens, bars, restrooms, and common areas
• Troubleshoot leaks, drainage issues, fixture replacements, and water line connections
• Perform rough-in and finish plumbing work for remodel projects
• Coordinate with flooring, drywall, and carpentry crews to keep schedules on track
• Read plans and verify site conditions before beginning work
• Ensure all work meets applicable codes and safety requirements
• Maintain tools, materials, and a clean work area
• Support punch-list completion and fast-turn project needs
Qualifications
• Journeyman-level plumbing experience or strong equivalent field background
• Experience in remodel, hospitality, commercial, or mixed-use environments preferred
• Ability to diagnose problems and work independently
• Comfortable traveling for multi-week assignments throughout the U.S.
• Flexible and available for nontraditional schedules when projects require it
• Respectful, professional, and fully comfortable working in LGBTQ+ focused spaces
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Licensing is a plus where applicable
Pay and Benefits
• Pay: $30-$40/hour, depending on experience.
