Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Cleaner, On Call Only for the 2nd Shift to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. As an on-call cleaner, you will be responsible for providing cleaning services as needed during the second shift, ensuring high standards of cleanliness across various commercial and industrial facilities. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a positive environment for staff and visitors alike.

Responsibilities
• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Conduct custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitation
• Assist with light maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep or report issues requiring specialized repair or attention
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment
• Respond promptly to on-call requests for cleaning services during the scheduled shift or as needed
• Maintain cleanliness logs and report any damages or safety concerns immediately

Experience
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is highly desirable
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices is a plus
• Familiarity with residential painting or general maintenance work can be beneficial but is not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety
