As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Assist with monitoring access points, verifying authorized entry, and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site expectations.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear reports, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and first responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Work in and around a hospital morgue as required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Restrain individuals in a hospital environment as required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a guard card.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
