The Janitorial Agent is responsible for performing custodial duties, and other duties as assigned, to ensure that our client buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

Janitorial Agent Duties & Responsibilities

~ Dust and clean all furniture, fixtures, and horizontal surfaces as assigned.
Vacuum all carpeted areas, mop tile and concrete floor areas as assigned.
Cleaning windowsills and windows.
Report minor maintenance repairs and any damages to the appropriate staff member.
Maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Properly label, dilute, and use cleaning chemicals.
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Janitorial Agent Requirements & Qualifications
Ability to operate and use tools/equipment.
Good client/customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products and their use
Knowledge of general housekeeping methods and practices.
