Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented On-Call Cleaner to support our healthcare facility’s commitment to cleanliness, safety, and infection control. This role is critical in maintaining a sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors, especially during high-demand periods or in response to urgent cleaning needs.

Pay: $25.36 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift: Part-time as needed basis, no specific shift or work days. Will vary week by week

• Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests, including biohazard spills and terminal cleaning.
• Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols, including proper use of PPE and hospital-grade disinfectants.
• Safely handle and dispose of medical and general waste.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and sanitizers.
• Document tasks completed and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to ensure cleaning needs are met efficiently and respectfully.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare or commercial cleaning strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and cleaning procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to work independently and respond to on-call requests with short notice.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Additional Requirements:
• Proof of immunizations and/or willingness to receive required vaccinations (e.g., flu, Hepatitis B,T-Dap, etc).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
