Your Responsibilities:

The roles of the TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator are to lay out, fit and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, enclosures, and other manufactured components. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience working as a welder in the manufacturing industry.

Location: Dallas, Texas

This position is found within our Production Department.

Team size: You will work as a part of a team consisting of a

Team Leader and five Welders/Fabricators while collaborating with all 67 employees at this location to meet the organization’s goals.

International connections:

Due to the global structure of our group of companies, there is regular coordination with international locations, in particular with Germany and the Netherlands. Project work often takes place in intercultural teams.

Your Essential Tasks:

· Set-up and layout jobs using blueprints, diagrams, and fixtures in accordance with welding specifications.

· Works with team members to develop new methods for modifying and improving the quality of the finished products.

· Completes advanced TIG and MIG welding techniques of various metal objects

· Evaluates finished products and performs quality checks on completed parts

· Assembles units and performs modification and repair work, if required.

· Inspects and performs preventive maintenance on welding equipment.

· Collaborates with team members to meet the organization’s deadlines.

· Performs other duties as assigned, following written and verbal instructions.

· Participates in the organization’s continuous improvement efforts.

Your Profile:

· ExtensiveTIG/MIG welding experience-Required

· Experience with Laser Welding

· Experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum

· Display good judgment and decision-making ability

· Knowledge of standard shop/warehouse procedures

· Adhere to company’s safety practices

· Maintain an organized, clean workstation

· Perform basic math calculations

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

· Able to lift 50lbs.
