Houston area restoration contractor Cavalry Construction has an immediate opening for a full-time Plumbing Program Inspector. We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious professional with strong sales ability, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage plumbing related mitigation projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will present professionally, respond quickly to new plumbing leads, and confidently guide homeowners through both self-pay projects and insurance-covered losses.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the inspection up to signed Work Authorization.
• Documentation of all communication and job progress in dedicated job management software
• Perform in-person inspections of damage and secure job with client in the field
• Weekly Strategy meetings with Marketing Rep, Operations Manager, File Coordinator and GM to review prior weeks Secured and Non-Secured jobs
• Keep all stakeholders informed of job status daily from initial visit through a signed Work Authorization (this includes homeowner, tenant, property manager, referring party, ect.)
• Organize all job information and documentation in appropriate CRM utilizing pictures, notes, and tasking features. This includes scoping, sketching, and documentation. These tools include moisture meters, thermal cameras, and CRM.
• Provide File Coordinator and Operations Manager with proper scope outline and be available to answer questions while the job is in production.
• Process appropriate regulatory sampling per guidelines (Asbestos, lead, ect)
• Finish all daily tasks assigned to you prior to leaving for the day as well as re-tasking job status are completed at each step

Experience and Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of comfort speaking to customers
• Ability to overcome challenges and obstacles through problem solving
• Experience in Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel as well as CRM proficiency
• Strong time-management and people skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic

• Construction industry environment

Preferred and Qualifications:
• IICRC WRT and either AMRT or ASD Certifications preferred but not required
• 1 year minimum in current position if promoting from within (must be in good standing on last performance review; a 4 or better with no performance improvement plan in place)
• AHERA Building Inspector certified preferred but not required

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary plus commission structure, 401(k), phone allowance, weekly fuel, automobile allowance, and paid vacation. Some travel required.
