Boka Restaurant Group and Top Chef/Iron Chef winner, Stephanie Izard, are currently seeking Seasonal Servers to join the team of Cabra, located on the top floor of The Hoxton Chicago!
• ** This position will start off PT and may transition to FT***

ABOUT CABRA: Cabra, which translates to “goat” in Spanish, draws inspiration from Stephanie Izard’s travels throughout Peru in Lima, Arequipa, and Cusco where she captured some of the vast flavors and culture from her experiences abroad. A bright restaurant sitting atop Chicago’s Fulton Market District, Cabra celebrates a vibrant dining experience featuring two outdoor dining areas, panoramic views, and an airy, lively atmosphere making for a true getaway.

SERVER’S RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountable for all aspects of a guest’s dining experience while providing exceptional guest service and exceeding expectations.
• Follow steps of service to provide a quality guest dining experience
• Direct support staff in needs of assigned section to maintain proper flow of service
• Provide proper food and beverage service adhering to restaurant standards
• Ring all food and beverage items with 100% accuracy to ensure proper flow of service
• Properly handle all guest payments with 100% accuracy
• Consistently check identification of all guests purchasing alcohol to BRG standards
• Always follow proper sanitation practices
• Correctly audit and balance cash and credit card receipts as part of daily checkout procedures
• Responsible for completing all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-pace, busy, high-volume restaurant!
• Maintain all required health, sanitation, and alcohol service certificates
• Interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
• Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
• Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
