IFS has an immediate full-time opportunity to join our Janitorial Services Team as a Janitorial Crew Member. Summary of duties:
β€’ Clean and maintain building floor surfaces, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming and spot cleaning
β€’ Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment (e.g. Dust, wash, vacuum, and polish)
β€’ Gather and empty trash
β€’ Service, clean and supply restrooms
β€’ May move furniture, light fixtures or other items manually or with hand truck
β€’ May extract carpet (small jobs)
β€’ Execute proper use of all equipment
β€’ Clean and maintain cleaning equipment per instructions (e.g. rags, mops, machines, tools and buckets)
β€’ Prepare cleaning solutions (water, detergents and other chemicals) according to specifications
β€’ Monitor and report facility issues requiring repairs (notify Lead, Site or Zone Manager)
β€’ Monitor building security and safety (lock doors after operating hours and ensure electrical appliances are turned off, etc.)
β€’ Properly stack and replace cleaning items and tools
β€’ Ensure supplies are available for each shift
β€’ Report supply requisition needs to Lead/Manager

Requirements for our Janitorial Crew Member position:
β€’ Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work.
β€’ Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
β€’ Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
β€’ Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.
β€’ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).
