Join Our Team – Professional Security Officer Needed for High-Rise Office Building Garage

We are currently hiring a dependable and observant Security Officer to maintain safety and security at a high-traffic parking garage serving a high-rise office building. This position requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, corporate environment.

As the first point of contact for tenants, employees, vendors, and visitors entering the garage, you will play a critical role in upholding our company’s commitment to safety, service, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access in and out of the garage
β€’ Conduct regular golf cart patrols of all garage levels, stairwells, and access points
β€’ Ensure all areas are secure, well-lit, and free of safety hazards
β€’ Assist office tenants, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries
β€’ Report suspicious activity, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly
β€’ Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs using company software
β€’ Enforce property rules, parking regulations, and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
β€’ Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional security role (garage or similar environment preferred)
β€’ MUST live within 20 miles of site - 77094
β€’ High school diploma or equivalent
β€’ Valid driver’s license
β€’ Reliable transportation to and from work
β€’ Exceptional communication and customer service skills
β€’ Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods, including in outdoor conditions
β€’ Professional appearance and demeanor
β€’ Solid judgment and the ability to de-escalate situations when needed

Preferred Experience:
β€’ Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus, but not required
β€’ Familiarity with parking enforcement or garage access systems is a plus
