Job Description
Overview

Join our team as a Housekeeping Technician at a residential high-rise condominium, where your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness will create welcoming, safe, and pristine environments for residents their guests and staff. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and order across various facilities Your proactive approach and commitment to quality will directly contribute to the overall living experience and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
• Common Area Maintenance: Clean and sanitize community room bathrooms and toilets daily. Perform general dusting and wiping of surfaces in the lobby and shared spaces.
• Floor & Surface Care: Vacuum all hallway carpets and sweep concrete stair towers. Clean and baseboards, trim, and unit entry doors to ensure a uniform, high-end appearance.
• Elevators: Deep clean elevator cabs, including stainless steel walls. Pay special attention to vacuuming and debris removal from elevator door tracks.
• Waste Management: Manage daily trash collection from designated areas. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the trash rooms.
• Outdoor & Seasonal Support: Assist the maintenance team with snow removal at building entrances and walkways using snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders as needed.
• Special Projects: Complete periodic deep-cleaning tasks such as window washing, carpet shampooing, or restorative floor care as assigned by management.
• Emergency Response: Assist the maintenance team with clean-up during water leak events and first responders during emergency situations or alarms.

Requirements
• Experience: Previous experience in residential or hospitality cleaning preferred.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: Promptness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communication: Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with both residents and team members.
• Flexibility: Willingness to assist with tasks outside of standard duties during inclement weather, emergencies, vacations or similar such occurrences. Assist team members with any and all cleaning tasks when and as needed or requested.

Physical Requirements:

· Maintains a well-groomed appearance and must adhere to the HHOA dress code and wear the provided uniform at all times.

· Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish shared goals and tasks to maintain smooth operation of all building functions

Scheduling Requirements:

The Hopkinson House is a continuously operating condominium building and requires staffing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You may be required to work weekends, night, or overnight shifts as well as federal and religious observed holidays.
