Citarella, The Ultimate Gourmet Market, is seeking Full-Time DRIVERS to join our growing family! We are seeking individuals whose interest and passion for driving and food are as unparalleled as our commitment to superb customer service and quality food. MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY. Schedule is varied.

Role and Responsibilities

Our drivers are responsible for the transportation of products from the distribution center to Citarella's stores locations.

Some of the responsibilities associates with this job include but are not limited to:
• Transport store product to multiple store locations
• Assist in loading and unloading of merchandise.
• Understand and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations in respect to driving policies.
• Communicate with dispatcher and store managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries
• Ensure refrigeration and proper temperatures are maintained in the trucks

Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience driving straight trucks
• Valid driver's license
• Must have open availability work including nights, early mornings, holidays, weekend
• Professional driving experience in NYC (Manhattan), Long Island and Connecticut (Preferred but not required)
• Clean driving record is a must
• Fluent in English

Preferred skills:
• Prior experience in a food/ retail company is a plus.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
• Organized, reliable, and demonstrate timelines
• Able to meet physical demands of the position
