As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and reports, document observations, and support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems as assigned, and report unusual activity according to post orders and location protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and/or requests for assistance.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and location contacts.

Minimum Requirements:
• Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
