As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard
β€’ Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
β€’ Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
β€’ Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
β€’ Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
β€’ Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
β€’ Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
β€’ Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
β€’ Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard
β€’ Be authorized to work in the U.S.
β€’ Level 3 Armed Security License
β€’ Ability to provide own equipment(Weapon, Duty Belt, 2 pairs of cuffs and 2 non lethal items)
β€’ Must be 21 years of age or older
β€’ Valid driver's license with no restriction B and clean driving record
β€’ Demonstrate a stable work history
β€’ Have reliable transportation
β€’ Able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
β€’ Computer Skills/ Social Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Entry)
β€’ Ability and willingness to work at odd hours and under pressure
β€’ Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
β€’ Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
β€’ Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
β€’ Responsive and strong problem solving skills
β€’ If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
β€’ You have a state license if required
