Driver Messenger (Current Driver's License Needed)

As a Driver you will operate a motor vehicle between our various hospital sites as well as insurance companies, banks, and other assigned locations in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for transporting mail, reports, checks, as well as supplies. You will function as a driver on a weekly rotational basis and when not driving you will perform various clerical duties.

You clerical duties will consist of sorting and scanning mail received, maintaining the inventory of printer supplies and other office supplies. You will also troubleshoot copy machines, printers and fax paper jams before service calls.

Role may also involve assisting with moving equipment at times.
Hours of position:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:30PM

Required Criteria
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Must be computer literate (familiarity with mouse and keyboard are the only requirements)

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
