About the position

Reel Security is seeking Armed/Unarmed EP Security Officers to work at a TV/Movie Studio in the Los Angeles area. EP Officers will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of studio Talent, Executives, and Guests on and off of Studio property. EP Security Officers may be assigned to different posts as needed. Most current positions will be plain clothes. Some uniform posts may be available.

Responsibilities
• Close Protection/Escort of Studio Executives and Talent
• Being alert at assigned post at all times to ensure personal safety
• Making sure customer service is a top priority – be pleasant and courteous while greeting all staff, production, and visitors
• Know the Studio property – where all entrance/exit points are located, and how to direct people to the different areas on the property where they may be working
• Ability to use a radio for communications to security Command Center and other personnel
• Receive and pass down relevant information from the officer being relieved from their shift to keep all officers aware of pertinent information (communication is key)
• Monitoring various activities on and around assigned post (parking lot / security cameras)
• Making rounds on the Studio property to ensure the environment is safe
• Being aware of the chain of command system when an emergency takes place, and the steps needed to take to mitigate the problem
• Staying calm and collected in the event of an emergency, and carry out actions based on the Reel Security policies and procedures set in place
• Practicing safety at all times to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Standing/sitting at post for prolonged periods of time
• Monitor and protect client property from intrusion and theft.
• Obtain information of incidents that occur on post and write incident reports.

Requirements
• Current and valid BSIS California “Security Guard” License
• Current and valid BSIS “Firearm Permit” License
• Current and valid CCW permit issued in the State of California
• A history of lawful conduct (Background check prior to hire)
• High standards of integrity and honesty
• Reliable Transportation (required)
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License (Required)
• Must be a Top Tier Professional
• Must be level headed/Calm under pressure
• Proficient in de-escalation tactic training
• Strong Report Writing Skills
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Public service oriented, with effective communication skills
• Must have discretionary skills
