Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare components or areas for welding, including cleaning, layout, and setup.
• Perform welding using SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW methods. Be prepared for inspections per VT and PT standards.
• Operate arc welding equipment and oxyfuel cutting torches to ensure proper alignment and fit.
• Understand and adhere to safety precautions related to welding processes.
• Read and interpret welding symbols from blueprints, specifications, and sketches.
• Set up machines and equipment efficiently.
