Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare components or areas for welding, including cleaning, layout, and setup.
• Perform welding using SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW techniques, with inspections according to VT and PT standards.
• Operate arc welding equipment, oxyfuel cutting torch, and other cutting methods for proper alignment and fit.
• Understand and adhere to safety precautions associated with welding.
• Read and interpret welding symbols from blueprints, specifications, and sketches.
• Set up machinery and welding equipment as needed.
