Key Requirements:
• We seek experienced steel plate welders (structural/fabrication background preferred) to travel to Tampa, FL
• The Steel Plate Welder is responsible for welding and fabricating steel plates and structural components used in marine vessels, cargo handling equipment, and shipyard infrastructure
• Must pass 3G and 6G welding tests
• Must have proficiency with welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) as applicable
• Must have knowledge of welding codes and standards applicable to steel plates
• Must have good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Must have a strong safety mindset and adherence to PPE requirements
• Must have the ability to read and interpret welding drawings and procedures
• Per diem, transportation, and housing are available
• Must be okay with a background check and screen

Shifts:
• Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Duration:
• Long-term position (2 years)
• Per diem, transportation, and housing are available
