As a Security Officer - Incident Response in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while maintaining a strong, visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, observe activity, document concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering standout customer service. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to visitors and employees at a financial services location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and camera systems as assigned, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordination with management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, offices, ATM areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting hazards and reporting maintenance or operational concerns through designated channels.
• Complete security-related reports and logs such as incident reports, visitor and contractor entries, and shift activity documentation using required systems and/or forms.

Minimum Requirements:
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
