Job Description
MED Security is seeking highly professional, dedicated, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team protecting premier retail parking lots serving high-end restaurants and eateries.

This vital role focuses on proactive patrol and deterrence to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons and staff. If you thrive in an outdoor setting, excel at professional interaction, and are committed to crime prevention, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
• Parking Lot Patrol: Execute continuous foot and/or patrol cart surveillance of assigned parking areas throughout the shift, focusing on high-visibility deterrence of criminal activity (e.g., theft, vandalism, loitering).
• Customer Service Excellence: Serve as the initial point of contact for patrons. Provide professional, courteous assistance, directions, and a welcoming presence to enhance the customer experience.
• Incident Response: Observe and report all suspicious activities, maintenance issues, or safety hazards promptly. Accurately document all incidents, escalating issues to management and/or law enforcement as necessary.
• Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with property rules and regulations in a firm but diplomatic manner.
• Environmental Preparedness: Maintain performance standards while working outdoors for the entire duration of the shift, regardless of weather conditions.

Qualifications
• Experience: Proven experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred.
• Licensing: Current and valid state unarmed or armed guard license, and ability to qualify with an authorized firearm if armed.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physically demanding patrol duties, including extensive walking, standing, and potentially operating a patrol cart. Must be comfortable and capable of working outdoors for 100% of the shift.
