Job Description
Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented for a Picker/Packer to help us with our shipping and receiving operations for our logistic and warehousing business. In this position, you will work in our distribution center, packing, labeling, and scanning outgoing shipments. Our ideal applicant has general warehouse or order picking experience. However, we will work with any applicants that have a strong work ethic and flexibility needed for this position.

Duties
• Fulfilling the day's orders (picking, packing, receiving, and shipping)
• Reads customer order, work order, or shipping order to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed or shipped.
• Assist in shipping and receiving (as needed) unloading trucks, checking in merchandise using receiving documents, matches and reviews purchase orders to packing lists to ensure all required items are included; documents information relating to receipt, storage or distribution of materials for processing.
• Operate forklift and/or manual pallet jack for moving or storing material
• Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color, or product item number.
• Accurately pack products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect items for defects or damages before packing.
• Label packages clearly and correctly to ensure proper delivery.
• Packs, crates, and ships product and material to distribution center, departments, and vendors. Includes shrink wrapping, boxing and labeling. Marks materials with identifying information using appropriate method; i.e. Barcodes
• Assist in cycle counts of physical inventory. Keeps warehouse and work area organized at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling products and equipment.
