Full Job Description

Metro Trailer Leasing Inc. is looking for a motivated Class A CDL driver to shuttle empty trailers to and from customers. Most deliveries are local and drivers are home everynight. Daily start times are flexible. Overtime is available and occasional weekend work if desired. No freight to touch. If you are looking for a place to call home, we are the place. Salary Range

$22.00 + per hour based on experience.

Driver Job Duties

· Driving empty semi-trailers from our Atlanta office to our city and statewide customers

· Occasional Intra state delivers to neighboring states

· Occasionally picks ups require some light semi-trailer mechanic work for example change a light bulb onsite

· A willingness to say yes and service the customer with a great attitude a must

· Occasionally move an empty trailer from one customer location to another or spot a trailer on the customer’s yard

Qualifications Include:
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Dependable transportation to work
• Good attitude and work ethic
• Must pass a pre-employment screening, including DOT drug test
• Driving record must meet standard insurance requirements
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays if desired
• Good working knowledge of semi-trailers a plus
• Ability to do light mechanic work on trailers at the location a plus but not required
• Ability to change a light or the occasional glad hand a plus
