Welder I - Day shift - $22.00/hour - 6:00am-2:00pm Monday thru Friday
We are currently looking for a Welder I to be based out of Houston, TX. Reporting to the Supervisor, the Welder I will be responsible for welding various cable tray products. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
Welder I's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform setup, adjustments and operation of welding machines within the department
Fabricate per customer requirements adhering to specifications
All other duties as assigned Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
• Technical School Welding Certificate (preferred)
• 6+ months welding experience
• Ability to work scheduled hours Monday-Friday
• Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sometimes be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the plant environment can be loud. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. The manufacturing plant is not climate controlled. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; Complete any required training
