Job Description
Looking for a driver with a CDL Class A license and 2 years experience minimum for our growing logistics business. Small family owned business. 60cpm on 1099 starting out, we also offer fuel cards and our safety equipment is provided for. We have extra stop pay and layover pay, and we cover travel expenses. But please make sure to have your CDL class A minimum of 2 years experience.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate an over the road tractor-trailer to transport freight to various destinations

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Follow delivery instructions and maintain accurate records of deliveries

- Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays

- Ensure the proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo

- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle as needed

Skills:

- Proficient in automotive repair to handle minor repairs and maintenance on the truck

- Experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a commercial setting

- Knowledge of tractor-trailer operations and safe driving practices

- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
