Who You Are

Plumbing Installers will be responsible for all aspects of the installation of the plumbing systems in residential homes. This includes sinks, water heaters, toilets, other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances. You will accurately diagnose plumbing problems and communicate with clients the options and upgrades that increase safety and enhance the quality/health of life for homeowners.

Essential Job Functions
• Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues
• Always explain to the customer what service you are performing and give exact prices & gain approval before doing the work
• Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services for the customer's needs and wants
• Install and repair plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations
• Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business
• Maintain your truck so that it is always neat and clean on the inside and outside
• Work alongside Customer Service and Dispatch team to ensure overall success of the business
• Maintain detailed records of services, including documenting pictures of before and after services have been completed
• Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Plumbing license or able to obtain within 6 months
• Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers
• Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locater equipment
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean driving record
• Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation & Hours
• Revenue Sharing
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• * Days: Monday - Friday, on call rotation
