Job Description
Overview
I'm a Truck Driver helping new drivers who recently graduated from CDL school or experienced drivers find a solid and reliable OTR job who live in Southern California. You can live anywhere in So Cal but need to commute to Orange County when you begin each trip. This company has the contracts with companies to get the miles in and make consistent weekly paychecks. I average $1,800 per check. My lowest check was $1,300(my first week) and my best was $2,800. One of the best benefits working for this company is you reset at home after each trip out. You're home (Orange County base) before your 70 hours are up and you decide when you go back out. I average 4 days off after each trip but you can decide on 2 days or a week before you head back out. And they only book light loads where you never have to go to a scale and check your weight. I haven't scaled since I started and I'm 8 months in now with them. Started as a recent graduate and they trained me and no BS training pay like some of those mega carriers. I made $1,300 my first trip and it was a short week where I was back on my 5th day. Days out are from 5 days to 8 days. All depends on the loads and time remaining on your ELD clock. Dispatch support 24/7. They pair you each trip with another driver or make friends and head out with the same person.

Send me a text with your name and mention my post. I'll get back to you right away when I can call you or I'll just reach out to you if I'm driving my shift and have time to connect. I can go over the job and answer any questions you might have. I had lots of questions when I was new and wished I would have had someone send out this type of posting to help get me started.

Once we connect I'll get you in touch with HR to send in paperwork. They'll need 3 things - 1. Copy of your CDL. 2. Your DOT paperwork showing you passed and are cleared to drive. 3. MVR(current driver record). They will send information to the insurance agent and confirm you're able to join the company and do a background check. Takes about a day for this. If all good you'll be in orientation within a couple days after that. Complete orientation(about 4-5 hours) and do a drug screen(only urine - no hair follicle). Once you pass the drug test you can be on the road in a couple of days. Pretty simple process once we connect and get you started.
