Job Description
Duties Of Corridor Cleaning Ambassadors
• Clean the sidewalks and out to 18 inches in the streets to cover curb and storm inlets.
• Clean all four (4) corners of any intersection found at the end of cleaning routes.
• Clean a minimum of 20 ft along any side streets that intersect with the primary street.
• Ensure weeds and grass are no higher than 4 in. on all sidewalks along each route.
• Remove posters, stickers and debris off street furniture, telephone/electric poles and traffic signs.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of other public spaces and vacant lots on all three corridors.
• Maintain over-filled city trash cans to prevent trash from flowing over.
• Assist with promotion of litter reduction campaigns and community engagement.
• Track number of blocks cleaned, and bags used during cleaning tour using google forms application.
• Make 311 reports for all city related issues (i.e., graffiti, potholes, illegal dumping, etc.)
• Serve as a liaison between the businesses, residents, and corridor management team.
• Attend greening and cleaning trainings and workshops some weekends required.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs. – 50 lbs.
• Bilingual required: Spanish/English
• Other duties as assigned, including seasonal snow removal and weed whacking.

Requirements

Crew Lead additional requirements:
• Receive emails sent via human resources and share information with the cleaning team.
• Must have strong communication skills to manage WhatsApp group chat with leadership.
• Assist EHED with business corridor special events: Annual Parranda and Business Block Party
• Help coordinate spring cleaning, greening maintenance, and power washing activities as needed.
• Responsible for coordinating work with the Environmental team in EHED to take care of trees.
• Complete regular corridor walk-throughs for 311 including illegal signs, abandoned cars, potholes and dumping
• Must attend Quick capture, OSHA, Tree Tender and other professional development trainings
• Manage Daily Cleaning Report and report data to management using Google forms.
• Must have an active smart phone for use of applications like 311 and Google forms.

• Full time permanent job with benefits- Pay Rate: $22.00 an hour - Monday through Friday- 8AM-5PM (one hour included for lunch)Must have transportation
