Job Description
InstaCare EMS is seeking experienced drivers to work as a Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) from our Brooklyn Base located in Coney Island.

The MVO is a critical position involved in the safe and efficient transportation of patients, and will be in constant communication with patients, facilities, and coworkers. This position will be responsible for all aspects of operating and maintaining the company ambulance and equipment. The MVO must maintain knowledge and follow applicable traffic laws at all times. Alongside an EMT, the MVO responds to ambulance calls as dispatched and transports patients to the destination safely and efficiently.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
β€’ Valid NYS driver’s license
β€’ Must possess and maintain a clean driving record in order to be insured under the auto insurance policy
β€’ Must be able to safely lift 250 lbs. with assistance
β€’ Current CPR and First Aid certification

Preferred Experience:
β€’ Prior healthcare experience
β€’ 3+ Years experience driving ambulances, trucks, or other oversized vehicles
β€’ Employment is contingent upon a background check and pre-employment drug test*
