Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to join our team. The Pipe Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling low-pressure pipes used in irrigation systems, pump stations, and other water conveyance projects. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in MIG welding and extensive experience in fabricating and assembling piping systems.

Responsibilities
• Weld and assemble low-pressure pipes using MIG welding techniques.
• Measure and layout pipes for welding, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
• Weld pipe connections and fittings according to specifications.
• Perform quality inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty welds and pipe connections as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and shop sketches.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in proper working order.

Qualifications
• 2+ years of MIG welding experience, preferably in a pipefitting or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment welding test and demonstrate welding skills.
• Positive attitude, team player, and able to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
