A Custom Truck Carpenter at Reading Truck plays a key role in building and finishing custom truck bodies from the ground up. Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, this role involves hands-on carpentry work such as framing, paneling, cabinetry, and finish work to meet customer specs and quality standards.

Welder/Fabricator is responsible for complete fabrication, assembly & welding of raw steel & aluminum into manufactured bodies. Included, but not limited to, cutting & forming raw materials into parts, welding parts together, reading & understanding build sheets & standard work instructions for the various products we manufacture.

You’ll use your carpentry background to fabricate, install, and finish wooden or composite interiors, shelving, partitions, ceilings, and trim in a production environment where craftsmanship and safety matters.
