Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and hospitality-driven General Manager to oversee all aspects of operations for a premier fine dining restaurant. This leader will be responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences, upholding the highest service standards, and driving strong financial and operational performance. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, hands-on operator with a passion for excellence, a sharp business mindset, and a demonstrated history of success within upscale or luxury dining environments.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Excellence
• Set and uphold the highest standards of service, hospitality, and presentation
• Ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience and handle VIP clientele with professionalism
• Actively engage on the floor during service, leading by example

Leadership & Team Development
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and hospitality
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and succession planning

Operations Management
• Oversee all daily restaurant operations including dining room, bar, and private events
• Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless FOH/BOH collaboration
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

Financial Performance
• Manage P&L, including labor, food cost, and operating expenses
• Drive revenue through strategic planning, upselling, and guest retention
• Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability

Brand & Standards
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, ambiance, and overall guest touchpoints
• Maintain the integrity of the restaurant’s concept and reputation
• Oversee reservations, table management, and service flow to maximize efficiency

Qualifications
• 3+ years of General Manager experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality
• Proven success managing high-volume, high-end restaurants
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and elevated service standards
• Demonstrated financial acumen with P&L management experience
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Michelin-starred or Forbes-rated establishments
• Sommelier certification or advanced wine knowledge
• Background in luxury hospitality or boutique hotel dining
