About Our Client

Our Client is a leading port and logistics operator in Singapore, managing one of the world's busiest container terminals. They are seeking experienced Drivers to support round-the-clock terminal operations in a safety-critical environment.

Role Overview

As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of cargo and equipment within and between port terminal zones. You will operate in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment and are expected to comply strictly with all port safety regulations and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned vehicles to transport cargo, containers, and equipment within the terminal facility

• Adhere strictly to all port authority safety regulations, traffic rules, and internal driving protocols

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance requirements promptly

• Coordinate with operations supervisors and ground teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of loads

• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, cargo movements, and any incidents or near-misses

• Operate equipment and vehicles in a manner that protects the safety of all personnel, cargo, and infrastructure

• Support ad hoc operational requirements as directed by the terminal operations team

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 / Class 4 driving licence (Singapore)

• Prior experience driving within a port, logistics, or heavy industrial environment preferred

• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and public holidays

• Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor, weather-exposed environment

• Familiarity with basic vehicle inspection procedures and reporting

• Good situational awareness, discipline, and commitment to workplace safety

• Able to read and understand basic operational instructions in English
