Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled 6G GTAW/SMAW Welder to perform high-quality welding work for Fire Sprinklers projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding processes, with the ability to weld in all positions, including the challenging 6G position. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welding Operations:

- Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys, in the 6G position.

- Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal components before welding.

- Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of components for welding operations.

2. Inspection & Quality Control:

- Inspect welds to ensure they meet industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

3. Safety & Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Comply with Singapore MOM regulations, project safety requirements, and industry standards.

4. Equipment Maintenance:

- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

- Troubleshoot welding equipment issues and report malfunctions to the supervisor.

Requirements:

- Welding Certification (mandatory): Certification in Welding Technology or an equivalent welding certification that is recognized by industry standards, such as AWS, ASME, or ISO.

Experience:
