Job Summary

You will perform quartz welding and finishing tasks to prepare quartz components for semiconductor manufacturing, supporting production quality and efficiency through precise handling and processing.

Responsibilities
• Perform simple quartz welding to repair or join quartz components, ensuring structural integrity for semiconductor use
• Execute fire polishing individually or collaboratively to smooth and finish quartz surfaces, enhancing component quality
• Cut, grind, and lap quartz ware or related products to meet precise dimensional and surface finish requirements
• Prepare quartz components for subsequent manufacturing or repair processes, maintaining cleanliness and quality standards
• Apply gas welding skills where applicable to support quartz component fabrication and repair

Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Experience with gas welding techniques to complement quartz welding tasks
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about quartz material properties and engineering applications. On-the-job training will be provided and guidance by mentor until you can perform intended tasks independently.
