Job Description

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm), Saturday (8am to 12pm)

Job Responsibilities:
• To drive the Company’s truck for collection and transportation of wastes.
• To comply with all Traffic rules, and to practice safe driving habits whilst driving the Company’s trucks.
• To comply with all rules governing the transportation of hazardous liquids/chemicals on Public roads.
• To comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers, bins, drums etc, are used to hold the Waste, for safe transportation.
• To ensure that the containers, bins, drums etc., are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off.
• To perform Operator’s Level daily maintenance of the Company’s trucks.
• To monitor the Maintenance and/or LTA’s Inspection schedules of the Company’s trucks and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the due date.
• To monitor the validity date of the Road Tax and/or Vehicle Insurance policy and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the expiry date.
• To assist in the collection of waste from clients’ premises.
• To assist in the unloading, segregation and storage of the Waste.
• In discharging the above duties, to adhere to all Plant Safety Rules and to observe safe work practices.

Job Requirements:
• Possess Class 4/5 driving license (Good record)
• With prime mover, vacuum truck or flatbed experience preferred.
