Job Description
Job Responsibilities
• Interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications to plan and execute welding tasks.
• Perform high-quality welding using MIG, TIG, and SMAW techniques on various metals and structures.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare materials and components by cutting, grinding, and fitting as per project requirements.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Mentor junior welders and ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site.
• Collaborate with fabrication, QA/QC, and site teams to meet project timelines and standards.

Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of welding experience in industrial, marine, or construction environments.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, WSQ, or equivalent).
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measuring tools.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and welding techniques.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred for team coordination.
