As per the Ministry of Manpower, the minimum fixed monthly salary for Work Permit holders employed as drivers in the land transport sector is SGD 2,500 from 1 January 2026. This amount excludes overtime and must be paid via GIRO or bank transfer with CPF contributions starting at 17% employer share. Drivers exceeding 44 hours weekly receive 1.5 times the hourly rate for additional hours.

As per the Ministry of Manpower, foreign nationals require a valid Work Permit or S Pass specifically endorsed for driving occupations before starting any driver role. Applications must be submitted by a licensed Singapore employer through the MOM Work Pass portal with a minimum qualifying salary of SGD 2,500.
