Job Description
Role Mission:

The Logistics Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods to customers. The role includes loading and unloading goods, maintaining vehicle condition, completing delivery documentation, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Key Activities:

1. Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations according to scheduled routes.

2. Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damages during transportation.

3. Verify the accuracy of delivery orders, invoices, and goods before and during deliveries.

4. Ensure goods are delivered on time and in good condition.

5. Always maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.

6. Perform daily vehicle checks, including oil level, water, brakes, tires, and lights, and submit vehicle inspection checklists.

7. Report any vehicle issues, defects, or incidents immediately to the Logistics Team Leader or Executive.

8. Follow company SOPs for delivery processes, including COD customer, customer sign-off and proof of delivery documentation.

9. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during deliveries and when operating handling equipment.

10. Provide professional, courteous service to all customers and handle delivery issues appropriately.

11. Assist with goods return processes or product recalls when instructed.

12. Ensure safe handling and transportation of all goods, especially fragile items like wines and spirits.

13. Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company safety policies.

14. Support warehouse operations when there are no delivery assignments

15. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Superior or Management.

Job requirements:
• Valid Class 3 or Class 4 driving license (depending on vehicle type).
• Clean driving record with a strong safety focus.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant delivery experience preferred.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading tasks.
• Good knowledge of local routes and locations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Basic skills in completing delivery documents and simple reporting.
• Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently.
