Job Description
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols that align with industry best practices and legal requirements.Lead, manage, guide and motivate a team of security personnel and supervising staffs, workers and contractors to follow and maintain the security standards as per industry norms Oversee the day-to-day security operations of the organization, including access control, vehicle movement, materials movement, monitoring security systems and equipment, conducting investigations, and responding to emergencies.Coordinate with various projects, labour camps, departments like, Human Resources, IT, Project, HSE, Administration, Transportation to ensure that security policies and procedures are integrated into the organization’s overall operations.Continuously monitor, evaluate the effectiveness of the security measures through scheduled focus inspections and audits reporting to Regional Security & ER Lead and relevant project SHES managers.Conduct and participate in documented training sessions, security drills and other evacuation drills as per requirements of the Company & clients.Work closely in a professional way with clients, external partners, local law enforcement agencies and other emergency services, to ensure that the organization is prepared to respond to emergencies.Identify, assess, and manage security risks to the organization and its employees, assets, and facilities, and develop and implement security plans to mitigate these risks.Regularly report on the security status of the organization at various project sites & labour camps to Regional Security & ER Lead.Providing support in traffic management, crowd control, event management, mass TBT, Audits etc.,Liaison of the organization in security-related matters, representing the organization in meetings and in communications with clients & external agencies.Update & maintain all security data, information and submission of reports to Regional Security & ER Lead from time to time Age – 40+ yearsArmy/BSF/CRPF/CISF candidates having GD background (Subordinate Officers/JCOs or NCOs) with minimum 10 years of service and clean records are preferred5+ years in corporate sector in similar position and profileAny bachelor’s degree is a mandatory.Fluency of speaking in English & Hindi is a must. Knowing other regional languages can be an added advantage.Knowledge of working with bigger teams and huge workforce are mandatory.Technical knowledge and ability of tackling any unforeseen incidents, riots, accidents etc., as and when requiredStrong leadership, communication, problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.Knowledge of security-related technology, such as surveillance systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.Knowledge of security regulations, best practices, and local laws.Physical fitness, as the position may require walking and standing for long periods of time if situation demands.A very good knowledge in MS Office and mailing
