As per the Comisión Nacional de los Salarios Mínimos, the minimum wage for packing staff roles in Mexico is 278.50 MXN per day as of January 1 2026 in the general regime. In the northern border region it is 417.75 MXN per day with overtime paid at double rate after 8 hours.

As per the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, packing staff may work a maximum of 48 hours per week with at least one paid rest day. Workers receive 12 days of paid annual leave after the first year plus 25% vacation premium and mandatory IMSS social security coverage.

As per the Servicio Nacional de Empleo, applicants must submit CURP, official ID, proof of address, and IMSS registration number. No education certificate is required but a health certificate from IMSS is mandatory for warehouse roles.

As per the Servicio de Administración Tributaria, packing staff earning up to 10,000 MXN monthly pay 0% ISR in 2026 while earnings between 10,001 and 15,000 MXN are taxed at 10.88% after the monthly exempt amount of 7,498 MXN.
