We are a reputable hotel in Hawalli seeking a Housekeeping Staff member to join our team The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a team This is a full-time position with accommodation provided making it an ideal opportunity for students or individuals looking for stable employment Key Responsibilities - Clean and maintain guest rooms including making beds vacuuming dusting and restocking amenities - Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies hallways and restrooms - Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform management when supplies need to be replenished - Report any maintenance issues or damage to management - Follow all safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment - Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services in a friendly manner - Collaborate with other housekeeping staff members to ensure efficient workflow Requirements - Previous experience in housekeeping preferred but not required - Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly - Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays - Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills in English additional languages are a plus - Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month plus accommodation As an equal opportunity employer we welcome applicants from all backgrounds If you are passionate about providing exceptional service and have what it takes to thrive in a fast-paced environment we encourage you to apply for this position
