Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for joining metal parts and components using various welding techniques to create high-quality structures according to engineering blueprints and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Welding & Joining: Perform MIG, TIG, or Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding based on project requirements.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and measurements to plan layouts and procedures.
• Preparation: Clean and prepare metal surfaces (grinding, cutting, and polishing) before welding.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for defects (cracks, porosity, etc.) and ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance on welding machines, torches, and gas cylinders.
• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow safety protocols, including the use of PPE (welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes).

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Education: ITI in Welder or Fitter trade is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop. (Freshers with strong ITI records may be considered).
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in MIG/CO2 welding (most common in Ahmedabad industries).
• Ability to use handheld tools like angle grinders, saws, and measuring tapes.
