Job Description
*Job Post: Maintenance Fitter & Industrial Welder**
We are seeking skilled **Maintenance Fitters** and **Industrial Welders** to join our biomass pellet plant. The **Fitter** role requires at least 5 years of experience in a crushing plant or biomass industry, focusing on the installation, assembly, and troubleshooting of specialized machinery like hammer mills, pellet mills, and gearboxes. The **Welder** role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, focusing on high-quality arc welding and fabrication to maintain plant infrastructure. Both roles require hands-on expertise with conveyors, screens, and the use of power tools to ensure high-capacity production.
Candidates must be proactive in maintaining meticulous logs of maintenance tasks, downtime, and spare parts usage while ensuring the upkeep of all tools. The Fitter must possess strong knowledge of hydraulics and alignment, while the Welder must coordinate closely with the maintenance team for timely repairs and emergency responses. You will be responsible for reporting any abnormalities to supervisors immediately to prevent production halts.
The ideal candidates will have a "boots-on-the-ground" mindset, capable of performing gas cutting, grinding, and shaping metal parts under industrial conditions.
