Job Summary:A Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and building regulations.Key Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and related fixtures.Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks, clogs, or corrosion.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters).Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.Maintain records of work performed and materials used.Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls.Follow safety procedures and comply with all relevant building codes and regulations.Coordinate with other construction and maintenance staff as needed.
