Job Description
A Picker Packer works in a warehouse or distribution center to prepare customer orders for shipment. They are responsible for accurately selecting (picking) items from inventory shelves based on order sheets or scanners, inspecting products for damage, packing them securely, and labeling boxes for shipment. This fast-paced role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocolsey ResponsibilitiesOrder Picking: Accurately select items from inventory based on order lists, scanners, or pick tickets.Packing & Sealing: Package items safely to prevent damage, often using protective materials like bubble wrap, and seal boxes.Labeling & Shipping: Label packages with correct shipping information, tracking numbers, and address details.Quality Control: Inspect products to ensure they are not damaged and verify the correct quantity and quality before dispatch.Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, report shortages, and participate in periodic stock counts.Safety & Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and adhere to all safety protocols.
