Job Description
Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, laminates, and other materials. Assemble furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and prefabricated components. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications. Install hardware such as hinges, handles, locks, and fittings. Repair or modify assembled products when required. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow workplace safety regulations and company procedures. Collaborate with supervisors, designers, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time. Required Skills Knowledge of carpentry techniques and woodworking materials. Ability to read technical drawings and measurements. Proficiency with carpentry hand tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials. Understanding of workplace safety practices.
