Electrician / Multi Skill Technician

As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, the minimum wage for plumbers as skilled workers is ₹900 per day in the central sphere as of 1 April 2026. Overtime must be paid at twice the ordinary rate after 8 hours of work. This rate applies to employment in central government undertakings and scheduled employments.

As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment guidelines, candidates need a minimum of Class 10 pass along with 2 years of relevant experience or an ITI certificate in plumbing trade. Apprenticeship completion under NAPS is also accepted for entry-level roles. No formal degree is mandated for domestic plumber positions.

As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, applicants must submit Aadhaar card, Class 10 certificate, ITI or apprenticeship certificate, and recent passport-size photos. Employment exchange registration is mandatory and valid for 3 years. Police verification certificate is required for municipal contractor roles.

As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, plumbers work a maximum of 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week under the Factories Act. Workers receive 1 day of earned leave for every 20 days worked, totaling 15-18 days annually. ESI covers medical leave up to 91 days per year.
