Job Description
• Welding Operations: Perform high-quality, code-compliant welds (e.g., ASME/AWS) on pipes in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
• Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, fit, bevel, and align pipes using grinders, torches, and clamps.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read, understand, and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Inspection & Testing: Inspect welds for defects, ensuring structural integrity and checking for leaks, often using non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety guidelines, including using PPE, operating in confined spaces, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding machines, torches, and power tools.
