Job Description — Engineer (Welding) - We are seeking a qualified Engineer – Welding responsible for supervising shop floor welding activities, ensuring compliance with fabrication codes, maintaining welding quality standards, and coordinating documentation and approvals.
Key Responsibilities -• Supervise day-to-day welding activities on the shop floor• Monitor welding quality and control welding repair rates• Address welders’ daily operational concerns and provide resolutions• Prepare, maintain, and manage welding documentation including WPS, PQR, and WPQ• Develop welding books and follow up with clients for document approvals• Estimate and manage welding consumables• Ensure welding machine calibration compliance• Execute and monitor heat treatment procedures as per approved standards• Coordinate with TPIA / ASME Authorized Inspector for welding documentation review and approvals
Technical Knowledge & Compliance-Strong understanding of fabrication codes and standards:
• ASME Section IX , ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & Div. 2 ,
• EN ISO 15614, EN ISO 9606

Required Welding Process KnowledgeGTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, SAW.
